Please remember to bring your clothing donation for Working Wardrobes to our breakfast meeting on Tuesday. Business attire such as slacks, sport coats, dress shirts, neckties,  and suits are needed. If you do not have business attire that you can donate, please bring a new 3/6 pack of men's dress socks and/or briefs with you as these items cannot be recycled. Men's dress shoes are also needed. Working Wardrobes outfit women for the workplace as well, so women's business attire is also needed. Megan Klink from Working Wardrobes will have her van in the Five Crowns parking lot at 7:00 am for you to deposit your donation before entering the restaurant.

The workshops will begin on Saturday March 22nd at the Salvation Army in Anaheim. This year, to avoid conflicting with the resident's work schedules, the workshops will begin at 4:00 pm and end at 5:30 pm. We would like to have at least three coaches to participate in each workshop. The topics of each workshop are listed below. At this point in the sign-up process, we really need people for the 1st workshop n March 22nd (Skills Identification) and the 3rd workshop on April 5 (Master Application). The Master Application workshop is a challenging one so if you have experience in evaluating job applications, this is great workshop for you. I will pass around the sign-up list again on Tuesday.

The Success Day at Working Wardrobes will be held on April 19th. Please mark your calendars for that day. We will need volunteers to act as "personal shoppers" for our clients as they choose their "working" wardrobes. The personal shoppers will help fit the men and help match their accessories. Click here for some photos of last year's Success Day. The event lasts for four hours. We would like every member of our club to at come by, even if only for a few minutes, to meet our clients. Acting as personal shoppers is a lot of fun. Hopefully we will have several members interested in doing that as we did last year.

Graduation will follow the last workshop on May 2nd. All club members will be invited and urged to attend as this is the culmination of our efforts with this group of men. Again, please mark you calendar now.  When the graduates see a large gathering from our club at the culminating event, they are sent a strong message that we care about their future and what happens to them after our workshops.
