Your Vocational
Service Committee would like to especially thank all those who
brought clothing donations to our breakfast meeting on March 4.We
not only filled Megan's car, but we also had leftovers that
found their way into Chris' office at Five Crowns leaving him no
place to work.

Our first workshop
is Saturday March 22nd at the
Salvation Army in Anaheim. Our Success Coaches for that day
are Patricia Bintliff, Laura Dietz, and Robert Trommler.
We could use one more coach for Workshop 1. If interested please
be sure to sign-up at breakfast on Tuesday. We will have a list
of our clients later this week, and will include those names in
the next edition of the update.
The Success Day at
Working Wardrobes
will be held on April 19th. Please mark your calendars for that
day. We will need volunteers to act as "personal shoppers" for
our clients as they choose their "working" wardrobes. The
personal shoppers will help fit the men and help match their
accessories.
Click here for some photos of last year's Success Day. The
event will take place from 9:00 am to approximately 12:00 noon.
We would like every member of our club to at come by, even if
only for a few minutes, to meet our clients. Chris Szechenyi has
asked his hairdresser if she would volunteer her time and she
has graciously agreed. If any of you know a masseuse who might
be interested in donating his/her services, please let one of us
know.
Graduation will
follow the last workshop on May 3rd. All club members will be
invited and urged to attend as this is the culmination of our
efforts with this group of men. Again, please mark you calendar
now. When the graduates see a large gathering from our
club at the culminating event, they are sent a strong message
that we care about their future and what happens to them after
our workshops.
